July Book Haul

Hello all! This month was great for book deals! Book Outlet had a big summer sale and I got 14 books for $38! I also had gift cards for Amazon on Prime Day so I went a little crazy. And I bought two books from my library!

Book Outlet

I am obsessed with Book Outlet. I hate paying for a book that is over $10 because I am really cheap. I will spend hours on this website, especially if there is a sale. If you have not used Book Outlet please try it out! There is no particular order the books are in.
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard: I hear about this series all of the time on Booktube. It's been said to have a cliche and "typical ya fantasy" story line. But the summary sounded pretty good!
Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman: I have read Neal Shusterman's Unwind Dystology and I really enjoyed! I love the book cover of this book, and I heard it deals with mental illness!
The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly by Stephanie Oakes: I was casually browsing and saw the cover of this and wow. I have been in a very horror/creepy mood because it storms every single day where I live and the premise of this book sounds so goooood.
If I Stay by Gayle Forman: Yes, you are seeing correctly, that sticker does say signed copy. This is my second book that is a signed copy and I am so giddy over it. This was also $4. I do have to admit that I saw the movie like 2 years ago, but I don't even remember the main character's name.
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales: I saw this and I immediately put it in my cart. I hears emmabooks talk about this, and I know I will relate with the main character. I mean shy girl finds an underground music club, I know I will love this.
Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn: I have never heard of this contemporary, but I was in the search for a light summery read and found this. I later found out it was a trilogy so I'm a bit skeptical.
All the Rage by Courtney Summers: Again, I was in a thriller mood and this sounds so good!
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson: My family goes to a lake every year during the summer and I thought this was perfect. We are actually leaving in a week so I will definetely be reading this while I'm there. I also have heard great things about Morgan Matson's contemporaries, and I have Since You've Been Gone on my shelves (which I will also be taking to the lake).
Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas: Look at this cover. I heard about this on brandonthebookaddicts's channel and he said this was one of his favorite young adult mystery/thriller books. It's also set on Aruba so I'm pumped.
Room by Emma Donoghue: I really wanted to watch the movie when it came out a couple of years ago, but I found out it was a book. I know this book will break my heart and make me sob.
Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch: This book will make me want to book a flight to Italy and have gelato. I just wanted a book with a cute romance and fancy ice cream.
You by Caroline Kepnes: I heard this book was messed up and twisted. That's all I needed to buy it.
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins: This is a very popular mystery book that I have wanted to read for forever. Hopefully I will have a summer of thrillers.
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead: I was obsessed with the Vampire Academy Series in middle school and it's still one of my favorite series. I have no idea why I didn't continue with this world because Adrian was one of my favorite character, so I decided I am going to reread V.A. and start this series.

Prime Day

I had gift cards for Amazon that I completely forgot about, so I used them on Prime Day! I got 7 books for $45 in gift cards!
Shadow and Bone/Siege and Storm/Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo: AHhhh! I am so excited I finally got this! I wanted to read this trilogy before I read Six of Crows and I'm pumped! It also came with a map poster that I immediately put on my wall.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater: This series is really popular and I've heard such good things about it. I read the Shiver trilogy by Stiefvater and I really enjoyed it, so I really want to start this series!
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas: This is my first Sarah J. Maas book that I have bought and I am so ready to get into this series.
The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan: I never finished the Heroes of Olympus Series and I can't remember where I even left off because I was in middle school. I love Rick Riordan's books and keep accumulating them each year.
A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro: I actually have read a sample of this and I really liked it! I love books with a boarding school/prep school setting, and it's Sherlock & Watson's descendants! And ever since I read that Tiberus Blackthorn loves Sherlock & Watson books I kept thinking of this book.

Library

My library has a little section of books that you can purchase for like $2 and I grabbed 2 of them.
The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco: I don't think anyone had read this copy because it is in 100% condition. This book cover is so pretty and Katherine's Reads has been raving of this book so I'm to get to it soon.
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart: This is the only book that I have read from this haul and I still keep thinking about it. I read it straight through on my 5 hour flight when I went to the Caribbean a couple of weeks ago. I really liked this book, but I don't know if I would read it again. I did not see the ending coming at all, so go into this book knowing nothing. I do think that you will either love this book or hate it.

Alright wow, that's it for my July book haul! If there is a book you have read before and think I should read it before the rest, let me know! I got so many good, cheap books (which are my favorite) this month. My parents are starting to get concerned for my book buying obsession so maybe I should slow down (I will never be stopped).
